Juno Beach Real Estate

The Town of Juno Beach is a quiet residential seaside community in Palm Beach County. With the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Intracoastal Waterway on the other, the little town is a manmade barrier island with lots of open spaces, natural beauty, and small town charm.

With a long and varied history like many neighboring towns, the area that become Juno Beach was settled in the late 1800s and made into a barrier island when Lake Worth Creek was dredged and cut through to Lake Worth in 1898 to lengthen the Intracoastal Waterway. In 1954, the town was incorporated as a mostly residential community offering fine oceanfront estates, businesses, and condominiums. Juno Beach is known for its strong emphasis on community involvement, cultural activities, and natural beauty. The partnership of residents, businesses, and town staff keep Juno Beach safe, friendly, and beautiful, making it a lovely place to raise a family, vacation, or retire.

Juno Beach Attractions

Juno Beach’s biggest attraction is the ocean, waterway, and small town feel. The combination offers plenty of fun in the sun, tropical beauty, and a slower pace of life, making the town feel like a simple Caribbean island getaway.

Contributing to that feel are the town’s parks, beaches, and walking paths. Juno Beach Park offers public access to the town’s wide ocean beaches, along with picnic shelters, play areas, lifeguards, and a pedestrian pier. Kagan Park has something for everyone, with swing sets, playground equipment, exercise equipment, a Bocce court, a half basketball court, and picnic tables. Loggerhead Park provides additional public beach access, play area, bike paths and nature trails, pavilions, and reserved picnic shelters. Pelican Lake near Town Center features a one-mile walking path around the lake with park benches, picnic tables, gazebos, and lightposts to make the area usable day and night. On top of these parks, Juno Beach maintains several biking and walking paths and nature trails, so residents have their pick and fill of peaceful outdoor recreation.

Another popular attraction in this small town is the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, located at Loggerhead Park. The Center was originally one Juno Beach resident’s mission to preserve beach habitat for sea turtles by educating schoolchildren about them. Today the Marinelife Center features aquariums with live sea turtles and other sea creatures, exhibits, lectures, and the only sea turtle hospital between Orlando and the Florida Keys. Because of this one resident’s work to help sea turtles, Juno Beach is now recognized as one of the most active sea turtle nesting beaches in the world.

Juno Beach Country Clubs

Juno Beach boasts one of the most exclusive golf courses in Florida. The club is right on the coast, offering magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean, course lakes, greens, and natural vegetation on the outskirts of the course. Seminole Golf Club also offers a swimming pool, clubhouse, and other facilities for its elite members.
